Clematis Texensis Gravetye Beauty – Summer Flowering Clematis

Clematis ‘Gravetye Beauty’ has flowers of a rich ruby red, with the appearance of upside-down lily-flowered tulips that hang like bells from the plant. This is a more compact growing clematis, ideal for people with small gardens or who want something easily manageable for growing on trellis, over arches or pergolas. Perhaps try it grown through shrubs or small trees too. It can also be grown in large pots and would look wonderful climbing over an obelisk in the planter. Cut back hard in early spring each year – this keeps plants compact and tidy, and ensures flowers grow at a suitable height to enjoy. Supplied in approx 2-3 litre containers.
