Clematis Romantika – Summer Flowering Clematis

A striking and unusual variety of climbing Clematis, ‘Romantika’ has large, very deep-purple flowers with a wonderful contrasting centre of pale yellow stamens. The blooms are produced from July right through to September, giving a long season of attractive interest. This Clematis looks great planted against a light coloured background or intertwined amongst yellow to golden foliage shrubs. Prune back in early Spring, right down to a strong pair of buds at a height of around 20cm, and watch it shoot back each year with vigour and provide a fantastic summer show.
